Arzu Erturan is an urban planner and academic based in Istanbul. Her fields of interest are sustainable transportation, pedestrian and bicycle accessibility, and public spaces.

To help make Istanbul’s streets better for people, she co-founded Sokak Bizim Derneği/Street Belongs to Us Association - a non-profit organization for sustainable transportation, livable streets, and cities.
